A creative writing workshop presented as part of Lyra: Bristol Poetry Festival

Our bodies are often a site of conflict and discontent. This workshop will focus on nurturing positivity and reconnection. Participants will look at poetry that focuses on the body and bodily experiences, examine which techniques are used to bring those experiences to life on the page, and use writing exercises and discussion to explore their own experiences and relationship to their body.

This workshop is offered as part of the digital programme from Lyra: Bristol Poetry Festival '21 and is supported by a grant from Arts Council England.
